It's been a week I believe when this whole Janina San Miguel thing errupted. I was trying to find rhyme or reason to defend our new representative to the "World" competition. But can't.
I would rather defend Melanie Marquez over Janina simply because of the fact that at least I still understand what Melanie is saying. I don't think it's got anything to do with grammar, we all get ringing ears on a daily basis if we're really particular. I'm not as particular about it anymore, only when it is really done by some pretentious bitch of a fucker.
Going back to my point, Janina's problem was NOT that she messed with her possibly 14 years of schooling but that her answer didn't even have any pertinent content to it. We technically, she didn't even answer the question thrown at her. I think that's where injustice lies. We can't really say for a fact anymore but believing there's still good in people, maybe the judges just saw something we didn't see in her.
I still hope she does well.
