Of all the places I can think of, Bangkok never really came to me when I started craving for a pint of Guinness. Thank God for Irish migrants, I got a taste of one of my fave beers in the world. Yummy!!! :) I want a few more pints please. Hahaha. (and no, I ain't drunk)

In Bangkok? Wat Po (what for?)

To see various sights and feel the vibe of this incredible city. Behind me are temples at the Wat Po compound. Wat Po is the temple for the Reclining Buddha. This 40+ meter long Buddha is one of the longest in the world. Will post pics of it soon.

Here's what the place I stayed in looked like. My friend owns this serviced apartment so he let me use the place. Don't you just love the classic use of warm tones and dark wood. Close to Zen actually.

A friend of mine who lives in Bangkok now. We just finished gobbling on Thai cuisine. Amazingly cheap. $15 for 3 people and that includes dessert.

What I love about the temples in Bangkok is their grandiosity and ornateness. I love how "gold" this structure is. Simply fascinating.

UCC Lunch in Bangkok

Took this photo with my phone while waiting for my pasta from UCC at the Siam Center Mall. I was alone as you can see. I kinda liked the fact that I was able to go around the major part of the city by myself most of the time. It did have an effect on my phone bill since I'd normally call friends back in Manila to tell them of something I just saw that interested me, or if I saw some cute guy. Hahaha!!

Being back

After almost a week away from Manila, I'm now back. Not really sure I'm liking it. Ain't that weird. :) I'll write several articles about that trip soon with pics included. Watch out for that. I'm just waiting for them now so I can recount my trip. Thanks to all the well wishers. Over-all, I really had loads of fun.
