It's half past seven in the evening and I'm still at work. Trust me, I have a life. Now, I'm just not in the mood. I haven't been in the mood in the last several weeks.
Don't get me wrong, I'm in a new job and loving it... a lot. I'm in the company of fun people and loving it too. The other aspects of my life are what's bugging me. I'm just feeling apathetic towards them. Actually, it's not really them, it's just my romantic life. I have none.
Could it be that I'm watching too much Grey's Anatomy that I end up being like Meredith Grey? At least I'm not hung up on a "McDreamy". At least I'm not fucking around with anyone available (although I'm not really sure if I would if there is someone available).
To change the oddly depressing topic, I just bought three pairs of shoes from WADE in Glorietta. Great purchase. Spent around $100 for three pairs. Can't top that. One formal wear pair, another for going out, and the last one for a casual ensemble. I also got this really cool laptop bag from Springfield... $50 bucks people. Great purchases if I must say so. That weekend of shopping really lifted my spirits.

It's Tougher Now
It's quite strange. I thought it would be easier for me to make my blog entries now that I have a pc at home, my place is set up with WiFi connection, and I also have a laptop, BUT NO! I think it's really dedication.
Anyways, it's three more days till Philippine Idol auditions at PICC. I'm still thinking if I'll go. I already thought of songs to use for the auditions. Maybe I'll decide on the last minute. Damn auditions, the only thing that annoys me is the requirements (birth certificate, passport, etc.).
I woke up today at 7AM with a massive headache. I didn't even drink last night. Hell, if I knew I would wake up like this I would've gone out drinking.
I'm super hungry, I'll just have a shake. I'm gaining weight again so I have to lessen my intake and actually start to exercise. This situation's lessening my chances of snatching a hottie. ;) hahaha

Yet Another Beginning
It's true what they say that with patience, one reaps what he sows.
I've been on a roller coaster ride all year long with my career, which for me takes highest priority in my life right now. As of this day, I have transferred to a new company and so far it has been giving me much to look forward to.
I am not about to talk about my love life as there nothing much to talk about. It's been quite boring and any attempts at making it more lively always seem to end up in failure. So, what's a guy to do but focus all energies on more fruitful things.
Still living in my condo and it might not look the same as what you see below but I think it's still something. For someone who doesn't have a lot, I'm pretty blessed. Which is one of the reasons why I'm constantly thankful to God for having given me so much graces.
That said, I'm continuously on the lookout for whatever it is he would want me to do. I'm not about to join the Peace Corps or rally along Catholic Extrimists protesting the showing of The Da Vinci Code. I'm seeking out opportunities to do good and charitable work.
I'll definitely visit more often as I really have no excuse not to. Well at least, for now.

My Next Big Purchase
Right now I'm contemplating on getting myself the new iPOD Nano (unless of course folks from Singapore, HK, or the US are nice enough to give this to me as a birthday gift). I just love how it looks. You know me, STYLE OVER SUBSTANCE (thanks to To Wong Foo).
Help me out, if I get it, I'm only going to pay roughly P1,600 ($25) per month for 12 months. Hmmm. That ain't bad right?

New Phone
For quite a while now I was using the company provided phone which is a Nokia 6600. I brought it with me everywhere I went, even abroad. Lately, however, I wanted to get one for myself. One that I could call my own. More recently, a phone model caught my eye. I can't remember when I fell in love with flip-phones but this one just had to be mine.

I'm just so happy with this new no frills phone that I am now writing about it. It takes really decent pictures. Has got your basic needs. No bluetooth though so I just bought a cable to connect it to my PC. I love how it feels and the big buttons on the keypad. Lastly, I love the flip and how it contours to my huge face. HAHAHA.
Thank GOD they offered it at a 0% interest monthly payment scheme. (oh yeah, the photo below was taken using my new phone)

Slow Weekend
Started the weekend in a weird way. Friday night was for judging this turnabout pageant a small part of the company did. Hillarious as shit. I had tons of fun and I'm glad they invited me. Got freebies too. GCs from Starbucks and a leather note pad holder. Plus got to eat dinner for free. Haha.
Saturday morning was a photoshoot for Animo magazine. I was with my choir friends as the magazine will be coming up with a 3-page article on us. Cool huh? Most likely it would be published by December. I'd have to remind myself to get me a copy of that issue.
The rest of the day was ho hum, had lunch at recipes after the shoot (which I dressed up for, why not?). Then proceeded on to the condo with a friend while my hubby is with his friend. After a few hours of internet-ing, my friend and I decided to pamper ourselves so we went to a "spa". He had a facial, I had my foot spa (as I've had my facial the week prior). After over an hour, my feet were too relaxed to even move. My friend was already finished with his facial, which he recommends as a penitenciary rite for Holy Week. I on the other had still had my cleaning. Two hours, and I'm done. Wow! That's worth the money. Feet're pampered. SWEET!
Off to home to meet up with a couple of other friends hanging out. Got there with the folks dying to eat (who's stopping them). Grabbed dinner at 7-Eleven and munched on the food while watching uhm, I can't remember what we were actually watching. I think we were that hungry.
Took the chance in watching Mean Girls again, that's one helluva movie. I LOVE IT! I wish I were Lindsey. hahahaha. Kiddin'
Proceeded to update ourselves with PinoyBigBrother (pinoybigbrother.com) to find out who got the boot. I swear these Filipino reality shows are driving me nuts. Well, this one mostly. I can't believe they dragged on with the first send off for TWO WHOLE HOURS!! SHEESH! To top it off, the boot out the hottest guy on the show!!! WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH THIS COUNTRY! hahahaha... Anyhoo...
Today would be labor intensive. We're getting a new bed. Sorta. I'm getting my queen sized bed from my parents' house and return their bed. I miss that Ethan Allen knock off. Sigh. HAHAHAHA. I can't wait!!!
